This is dedicated to remembering the trivia and mannerisms that were Jack Davis Witmer, my brother...

Signature - Jack was left-handed. For some strange reason, throught the generations a fairly constant 9% of the world's population remains left-handed. Notable lefthanders include Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrant, Alexander the Great and Kermit the Frog.

Slang - He would often reply Yepper! ( A definitive way of saying "Yes") Shakespeare used slang, but with Jack, it did not match his persona. However, the result was diversionary and that was classic Jack.

Rally Cry! - Jack had a passion for fast  cars and for the freedom that they represented. A Humvee commercial entitled "The Big Race" pictured a soap box racer who takes a shortcut with his Hummer look-alike. The tag line was "They can't stop Jack!" This became his personal rally cry into many surgeries.

Last Words - A message found on my answering machine was: "Hi guys! Just called to say hello. Talk with you later".
